Yes! It is the day before Christmas and I am posting Spring collections? Yes I am! I’ve noticed that people are already interested in spring collections, so I figured, why not?
Today I have the OPI Spring 2021/Summer 2021 collection for you! It is a 12 piece collection inspired by Hollywood. Although usually OPI’s Fall collections are my favorite, I definitely like this collection.
The collection consists of the following shades: Rated Pea-G (medium green creme), Movie Buff (soft pink creme), I’m really an Actress (shimmer-y red with scattered holographic glitter!!), Award for the best nails goes to.. (dark blue), Hollywood &Vibe (light lilac), Bee-hind the scenes (light yellow), 15 minutes of flame (shimmer-y magenta), Suzi calls the paparazzi (nude/pink creme), Destined to be a legend (sage green/grey), Oh you sing, dance and produce (medium blue), Emmy, have you seen oscar? (red creme), I’m an extra (neutral pink creme).
Below you can see the promo material that a fellow instagrammer, luimination_nails, found! Of course, these pictures are always quite far from reality, but it sort of gives an impression of the complete collection.
Of course I definitely like this collection. Especially compared to last year’s spring collection. I absolutely love the shade “I am really an actress”, which of course is a nod to the super popular OPI shade “I am not really a waitress”. I am really an actress also has OPI’s scattered holographic effect, so I definitely can’t wait to get my hands on it.
I am definitely looking forward to see swatches of this collections. If you google, you might find stores that already sell the Gel color version of these shades. I expect that the regular line will become available in january/early february (judging from the collection last year). So I am keeping my fingers crossed to see some swatches soon!
Update January 2021: The colors are now listed on Amazon over here (affiliate link). Based on previous years they probably will be available soon. There is also going to be a regular miniset including I’m really an actress over here (affiliate link). The infinite shine mini set is available over here (affiliate link) that includes two shades and the infinite shine base and topcoat.
Another update: Because I always get a lot of questions which ones I ordered myself: I ended up pre-ordering I am really an actress (swatch over here), and the regular mini set containing a mini bottle of I am really an actress, movie buff, Suzi calls the paparazzi and Emmy, have you seen oscar? I almost can’t wait and I am so excited! I also picked up I’m not really a waitress, I’ve heard so much about that shade, and now seemed the perfect time to pick it up. I won’t lie, the other colors are also very pretty, so I there is a pretty big chance I will pick up more colors! If you’re looking for swatches of the complete collection, check out this post.
