It has been a long time since I last reviewed a Picture Polish shade (2017 to be precise). The ironic thing is that I have been wearing my Picture Polish shades, but I just haven’t been sharing them here on my blog! Picture Polish is an Australian indie polish brand, and they are known for their square bottles, which are often collaborations with ‘nail famous’ people.
Picture Polish Her Eyes is a collaboration shade with Picture Polish’ stockist ‘Hypnotic Polish‘. The sorceress Yenefer from the witcher books (and series) inspired the Hypnotic polish to create this shade. I started reading the Witcher books last year and became absolutely addicted, so I had to get Her eyes!
Picture Polish Her Eyes is a a blurple jelly with holographic flakes and larger blue hexagonal glitter. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this polish, since I usually don’t really like bigger glitter, but this combination is so nicely done that I loved it. The hexagonal glitter matches the base very well, and in certain lighting gives an extra pop!
I did have to use three coats for full opacity and the polish dries slightly gritty, so I definitely had to use a top coat to smooth it out.
Her eyes was originally only available at Hypnotic Polish, but due to popular demand it is also available on the Picture Polish website (and there is currently a sale over there), and several of their stockists.
