It has been a long time since I last shown you some ILNP polish, but if you would tell my I could only buy nail polish from one brand only, it would definitely be ILNP!
In case you don’t know ILNP: ILNP is a boutique polish brand that you can only find online. While they have creme shades, they are well known for special finishes. In particular, their holographic nail polishes have been the strongest that I have ever seen.
ILNP has been featured on my blog a number of times, but this time, I decide to just put five shades in one blog post.
ILNP Fairy dust
Fairy dust kind of awakened my love for ILNP again. I could not open my Instagram app without seeing some rave reviews about ILNP Fairy dust. I won’t lie, Fairy dust is absolutely amazing.
Fairy dust is purple jelly with orange multichrome shimmer and a holographic sparkle. I’m wearing three coats in the picture and it’s fully opaque but for a more translucent look you could also go for two coats.
People always mention that ‘they want more shades like Fairy dust’. ILNP actually has a couple of shades that are similar. Probably the closest shade (but in a different color) is Bluebell. It’s basically the same concept as Fairy dust but in a different color. Also often Flowerchild and Pixie Party are mentioned. While those indeed have a similar concept as Fairy dust (as in, a jelly+multichrome shimmer+a scattered holographic finish) they do seem very different to me.
ILNP Sirene
If there is one type of polish I have been avoiding for the longest time, it has been multichrome polish. I often find multichrome polish quite deceiving as they look amazing in the bottle, but are often disappointing on the nails. However, this is absolutely not the case for Sirene.
Sirene is a green/blue multichrome with a touch of purple on the side. It’s absolutely mesmerizing and I can’t believe that I’ve been sleeping on shades like this! Sirene is still a bit sheer at two coats, so I’m wearing three coats in the picture.
ILNP Salem
ILNP Salem is the only polish in this list that was slightly disappointing to me. ILNP promises a black jelly with a multichrome green to red shimmer. However, what you will get instead is a black jelly with shimmer that looks mostly green. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a pretty polish and I received a ton of compliments while wearing it, but don’t expect too much magic.
I’m wearing three coats in the picture.
ILNP Opal Sunset
ILNP Opal Sunset was a huge surprise to me. I have been looking at swatches of Opal Sunset ever since it has been first released in 2020, but I finally decided to pull the trigger and buy it. Opal Sunset is a lovely sheer pink with a gold-to-green multichrome shimmer and linear holographic sparkle. I’m not sure how ILNP was able to fit this all in one polish but they did. In normal light it just looks like a multichrome, but when the light hits right you will see all the amazing holographic rainbows.
My main concern with this polish was that it looked very transparent in many swatches. However, I’m wearing three coats in the picture and it’s definitely opaque. If you want a more translucent look, you can use two coats instead.
ILNP Jinx
Last but not least: ILNP Jinx. Jinx was officially released as part of a Halloween collection, but it’s so gorgeous that I’m just wearing it all year instead.
Jinx is a dark purple jelly with multichrome flakes and some scattered holographic sparkles. I personally absolutely love the contrast of the deep purple based with the bright flakes. I’m wearing three coats in these pictures, but if you want a more translucent look, you could also use two coats.
Conclusion
Even after all this time, I’m still in love with ILNP. The formulas are super special, the polish are easy to apply and dry quickly. You will guaranteed get a ton of compliments while wearing these shades!
Luckily for us, ILNP is also easily available. If you are located in the US, the easiest (and cheapest) way is to buy the shades from ILNP.COM, but they are also available on Amazon and Etsy. ILNP also has a number of international stockist. I personally always buy them from nailland.hu, which is very easy when you are located in mainland Europe.
