Most Popular Fall 2024

First of all, happy 2025 everyone! This is the first post of the new year. I know everyone wants to move on and to know what will be next, but I would like to revisit the previous quarter’s most popular nail polish!

In my ‘Most popular…’ post series I’m swatching the shades again that were repinned the most often on my Pinterest that season. You can find my older posts in this series here on my blog, but let’s continue with this quarter’s most popular shades!

5. OPI Pixel dust

I’m not surprised to see OPI Pixel dust here, since she was also in the top 5 most popular shades of Summer 2024. Pixel dust is just an amazing and unique polish and it deserves all the love it can get. It’s an incredible sparkly polish.

4. OPI Espresso your inner self

OPI Espresso your inner self is also not a surprise to see in this list. These type of espresso brown shades have been trending for a while now, and Espresso your inner self just fits in perfectly. Espresso your inner self becomes super popular each year around fall, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it all year this time, because the Pantone color of the year for 2025 is Mocha brown! Espresso your inner self is a perfect choice if you are looking for something that fits the trend!

3. Essie Bordeaux

In cloths, burgundy has been trending this fall, and I guess we are also seeing this in nails. Essie’s Bordeaux is one of my favorite polishes, so I’m quite happy it made it in this top list for the first time ever. Essie Bordeaux is such a classic and is gorgeous, but it does not have the easiest formula.

2. Essie Berry Naughty

Essie Berry Naughty also made it to the top. Berry Naughty is very similar to Bordeaux, but it does have a slightly better formula. The color is very similar to Bordeaux, and I would say it’s definitely not worth it to own both unless you are really into dark reds.

1. Essie Tropic low

Essie Tropic low has been in this top five so many times, and I’m still surprised. Green is definitely not the most popular nail polish color, but each time Tropic low just pops up. I guess it’s because we had Brat Summer this year, and Chanel released a polish that is very close to Tropic low.

Conclusion

We had some surprising shades this season, and some shades that definitely did not surprise me. Dark reds and dark browns are definitely popular each fall, but I think this fall we just really saw them everywhere. The colors in this post are definitely very good picks if you are looking for shade that’s on trend right now!
