It has been a bit quiet here, but you know that I’m always coming back to talk about the newest Essie collections. This time, I’m back with Essie’s Holiday 2024/Winter 2024 collection.
This is what Essie has to say about the new collection:
With the limited antique chic collection from essie, the scent of sumptuous nostalgia is in the air. This is also reflected in the intense and long-lasting colors. The selection of this year’s winter collection includes 6 warm, deeply saturated and opulent colors that make the cold season feel cozy and comfortable. Now is exactly the time to focus on yourself and your own needs and to pamper yourself. The color let it crackle skilfully ushers in this pampering program and lets the nails shine in a rich red with orange undertones.
The colors are going to be called:
- Antique chic (gold with bronze undertones)
- Ready to retreat (mauve with blue undertones)
- Let it crackle (a red creme)
- Oldie but goodie (green creme)
- Heirloom Memories (grey-beige with shimmer)
- Teacups & trinkets (Saphire blue creme)
My first reaction to this collection was that this collection wasn’t too interesting. However, upon closer inspection I would say that this collection really has some Christmas staples like the green, red and bronze. I’m mostly excited to see swatches of Heirloom Memories because I’m curious to see if this is going to be an opaque shimmer or a translucent shade.
The official release date of this collection is still unclear, but I’m guessing very soon!
