It feels like it is forever since I did a post like this. I had to check, because I was right, I already released pictures of the Essie Summer and Midsummer collections back in February! According to many stores, 1st of August is the start of fall, so I’m not surprised that we are getting to see a new Essie collection.
The new Essie Punk at heart collection features six new edgy shades, from primary brights to dark metallics, all inspired by breaking societal conventions.
The new shades are going to be called:
- Punk at Heart (a dark twilight blue creme)
- leather weather (an eggplant purple creme)
- loud & proud (a bright pink creme)
- Never too bold (deep teal silver metallic)
- Patch it up ( an olive green creme)
- Studs & spikes (a maroon metallic)

I’m personally really excited about this collection. I’ve not been super enthusiastic about recent Essie collections, but I really feel like this one hits all the right spots. The pink creme is great for people who are looking for traditional colors, the green is great for people who like more unconventional colors and the metallics are amazing for people who enjoy shimmer. Essie’s fall collections are usually my favorite collections of the year, and this one definitely does not disappoint.
